Dear Nommi backers,
We hope things are going wonderfully with all of you! Now is time for news!
We have a lot of good news and some of them we would like to note:
1. Our founders Alyona and Kairat are now in Shenzhen. They visited the production factory and discussed many important questions related with hardware. Also met our data-traffic partners. The results of the meetings we will share with you upon arrival. All the meetings were very productive and we are really excited!
2. We are already finalizing the UX/UI design of Nommi application. Here’s how its look:
3. Printed out the device’s case in CNC(computer numerical control) machine for the beta-testers. Below you can find some of these photos:

Dear Nommi backers,
It has been another busy and productive week here at Nommi.
1. In our last update, we talked about Nommi application. Thanks to everyone who sent us their suggestions/tips, we feel your support and we’ve also seen some really cool ideas that we’ll definitely integrate!
2. We started field testing of our dual wifi feature. We already have bash script for dual wifi, however we want to optimize it and rewrite this script to one of programming languages to obtain maximum energy efficiency on CPU and switching speed. We created our own access points and do tests at the moment.
3. Also, we made adjustments to the PCB after some investigations and going to produce engineering samples of PCB closer to the end of March.

Dear Nommi backers,
Hope you all had a wonderful week!
Here are some updates on how our project is coming along:
1. We have started developing Nommi app. Our team of developers outlined core elements of architecture and we’re now discussing specifics of UX/UI.We’re also happy to get feedback at this stage, so if there’s any particular feature that you’d love to have in the app, e.g. see how much data was spent on particular app, or have push-notifications anytime you have 10% of data left - feel free to reach out to us - we’ll definitely discuss all the proposal within the team and will incorporate the best ones!
2. Chinese New Year celebration is over, so we continue to work on board optimization with our factory partner.
Some market-related news:
The world’s first 512GB microSD card has been finally presented. Chipset inside Nommi will support microSDXC format, thus these 512GB cards as well. You will be able to access files on Nommi via local wifi and even securely share them via external connection if you want.

Dear Nommi backers,
Happy to get back to you with a number of updates and share the progress. :-)
First of all, thank you for answering the survey! 69% of backers have already responded. If you are among those who haven’t answered yet, we would appreciate a lot if you can do it by 18th of February.
Getting to what we’re busy with so far:
1. As we have just reached 100,000 USD on Indiegogo - every Nommi backer will get her/his Nommi with one more additional feature - microSD! MicroSD is a flash memory card used to store all your data backups.
2. We’ve finalized all the specifications of the board that will be used in Nommi and started board customization at our China factory. Below you can find how it looks like (impressive, huh?!)
